This week is important to remember our fallen heroes and remember they will never be forgotten.
The term 'The thin blue line" has a very important meaning behind it.
The Blue represents the officer and the courage they find deep inside when faced with insurmountable odds.
The Black background was designed as a constant reminder of our fallen brother and sister officers.
The Line, the line is what officers protect , the barrier between anomie and a civilized society, between order and chaos, between respect for decency and lawlessness.
Together they symbolize the camaraderie law enforcement officers all share, a brotherhood like no other.
To achieve this look :
Items we will be using for this look is the 168 Pro Eyeshadow Palette 2nd Edition your favorite makeup brushes and the Bird? Plane? from the Super Shadow Collection from Glamour Doll Eyes
We begin by priming the entire eye lid. Using a little drop of mixing medium take a small amount of the Bird? Plane? Pigment and apply using the EB21 to the inner 1/3 of the eye like so :
As you can see the pigmentation is rather intense and wet. This will dry and the color will be nice and vibrant and long lasting.
Now we will go in with a matte black shade on the rest of the lid and into the crease.
Using the EB13 we want to blend the black and the blue as seamlessly as we can. As the pigment begins to dry it will be harder to blend so we want to do this while we can.
Blend the black slightly above the crease and line the lower lash line with the same colors as well.
Line the waterline with the blackout eyeliner gel and curl those lashes !
Key is to Blend your eyeshadow as best as you can to make everything flow together.
