Everyday Smokey Eye

Here is another look I did on my sweet model.  I showed her a 3 step smokey eye, using Sedona Lace's amazing brushes and 28 Neutral Palette.  This look is great for everyday and it's super easy peasy, especially with Sedona Lace's fool proof products.

The first thing I did was set down a base, you can use a dark cream shadow or a dark gel eye liner.

With the #941, I placed the matte black shade all over the lid and only slightly blended it into the crease using the EB 15.  The color looks shimmery due to the base I used.  If you don't like the shimmer, stick to a matte base.  I ran the color under the lash line as well.

Step 3, is to blend a matte brown shade into the crease so that the black has a color to blend into and the crease color disappears into the brow bone.  I used the EB 13, because this brush is fool proof when it comes to blending.

Just add mascara and that's it.  That's the easiest way to create a great, everyday smokey eye.

Have a wonderful Mother's Day weekend!! Be sure that you have gone to the Sedona Lace website and signed up for the newsletter, very exciting things are happening and you'll want to be in the know!! ::Hint Hint :: New products!!!!

50 Shades of Gray

Hello everyone today's look is inspired by the ever so popular book floating around called 50 Shades of Grey. Now we all know this book may seem a little taboo to some, but it is definitely creating quite a buzz now a days.

We will be using the 168 Pro Palette 2nd Edition , the awesome  Sedona Lace makeup brushes and a silvery gunmetal cream eyeshadow.

The colors we will be using are marked with a kiss for you to follow.

Let us begin my priming the entire eyelid:

Next we will use this cream eyeshadow and apply to the entire lid.

Next we will use this shade of silverish/gray and go into the crease

next using this lighter gray we will go above the darker shade we just applied

Wing out eyeliner over the eye and apply a nice natural pair of falsies.

Neon Leopard

Hello everyone!! Happy Monday to you!! Today I'm sharing a look I did on one of my favorite people using the 120 professional palette 2nd edition.  She wanted something wild, bright, and fun.  So if you'd like to create a crazy leopard look grab your favorite brushes and lets get started.

The first thing I did, was used a white base all over the lids and under the lash line with an EB 11.  The first color I used was a bright, matte yellow on the EB 21 brush.  I went from the lash line to brow bone.  This is not going to be a work appropriate look.

I then took a matte orange and placed it next to the yellow, still using the EB 21.  I didn't bother blending just yet, I wanted to place all the colors and make sure I liked the transition before I worried with blending.

Still utilizing the same brush I followed the orange with a bright pink.  This color really popped on the white base.

And lastly, I added a dark purple to the very outer corner with the EB 21, I brought the end out to a slight point.  I, also, ran this color under the lash line slightly.  I went back after placing the purple color and blended each color into each other more with the EB 09, to create a seamless transition in color.

With a eyeliner marker as a tool and not an eyeliner, I dipped the end into a black gel liner and placed small "C" shapes, circles, and dots all over the eye to look like leopard spots.

As, a last step I added two coats of mascara, a touch of glitter to a few spots, and false lashes.

I really love this look, and thought it was so fun for summer.   I hope you enjoyed it to, and I hope to have some more looks staring my favorite model.

Until next time,
Leah
