Gilded Gold

Hello Beauties!! The look I would like to show you today, is one of the most obvious uses of the amazing 88 Metal palette and that's metals! I chose gold today, and I will be using silver later on this week.  I find that even these darker colored looks work during the summertime, especially the gold on tanner skins (which, unfortunately, I am unable to show you on tan skin).

The first thing I did was used a skin tone primer.
With a ML #941, I applied a very light gold all over the lid.

With the same brush, I went over the lighter color in the outer corner with a much darker gold, this gold errs on the bronze side.

I then took my favorite crease brush, the EB 15, and ran a very dark khaki color with gold flecks through the crease and into the outer "V" area. I, also, ran this color under the lower lash line with the EB 21.

For my highlight, I took a cream color that had a golden undertone on the EB 13, and ran that through my brow bone and down into the crease color to blend.

The last eyeshadow I used was a very shimmery champagne color, which I placed in the inner tear duct and under the lower lash line about a 1/3 of the way in with the EB 21.

Two coats of mascara and I was ready to go.

I hope you are enjoying your summer!  Sedona Lace will be back on June 15th from their summer break and shipping will begin again on June 18th!

Pink Petal

Hello beauties!! Happy Saturday to you!! I had a friend the other day complain about having palettes with tons of pink colors, but when she uses them she ends up finding them unwearable.  I have a look, today, using the 88 Metal palette that uses all shades of pink that is wearable for everyday or any occasion.

The first thing I did was prepped my eyes with a slightly tinted primer. I went from lash line to brow bone.

With a ML (Midnight Lace) #941 I shaded in the whole lid with a gorgeous light pink color.

I used two colors in the crease.  The first I applied a dark wine color all through the crease with a ML #407. I didn't worry too much about blending here.

The second color was a darker magenta color, I placed in the outer portion of the crease and under the lower lash line with a EB 15.

Lastly, I added a shimmery champagne highlight to the brow bone to brighten the look and blend out the darker shades in the crease.  The EB 13 perfectly adds and blends without any thought.

Two coats of mascara and your pink petal look is complete.

Look at the 88 Metal Palette

Hi everyone!! I'm back with a look at the Sedona Lace 88 Metal Palette.  This palette has 88 metallic shades ranging from white to blues to reds, and all the way to black.  You can apply these wet or dry to change the look.  The palette is $22.95, making each shadow around $0.26 each.  The palette is housed in a shiny case with a very large mirror and two applicators.
The pigmentation is amazing, as with all 88 palettes.  The color range is excellent and the shadows are soft, creamy, and very blendable.  Here are a few swatches of the colors with no base.

I hope you find this helpful!! Check back for more looks and reviews from Cathy and me.
