Peaches and Cream

Happy 2012 everyone!! I hope your year is off to an amazing start.

Today I have a very peachy look to show you today using the 120 Second Edition eye shadow palette and the 28 blush palette.  From eyes, to cheeks to lips, it is all peachy.

The first thing I did was taking the #954 and applied a golden/peachy cream shadow all over the lid to create a base that will keep my shadows lasting, and make them stand out more vibrantly.

I took a creamy, shimmery cream color and applied over the cream eye shadow with a #941.

To add some peach to this peach look I took the very vibrant, shimmery peach with the #305 and applied it over the last third of the lid and blended it in with the color that is already on the eye.

For my crease, I took a satiny brown and applied it with a universal blender brush

Due to the satin and shimmer overload below the browbone, I stuck with a matte white to highlight the brow bone area.

For depth, I added a peach color mixed with a black and with the detailed shader brush and really defined the outer "V".

To complete the eyes, I applied mascara and went on to complete the rest of my face.

I applied my foundation with the flat top buffer brush, under eye concealer with the synthetic blender brush, all over concealing I used the #772, and lastly, I powdered my face with the #376 brush. My cheeks, I kept peachy as well and used my dome contour, I applied a color from the 28 blush palette.  However, I made sure to stay away from the apples of my cheeks and to close to my nose. which would have more of a clowny look then a healthy glow.

My lips were lined and filled in with a coral lip liner, and I smoothed the liner with the capped lip brush. I topped it with a nude gloss and that completed the peachey look.

  1. I like this look very much. I love how it's all peach themed but it's not overwhelming. You created a nice balance!
