Geek Chic Day or Night

Hello gorgeous readers today we will be doing something a little more different. We realize that a lot of people wear eye glasses and sometimes may feel like we are limited to the type of makeup we can wear because our gorgeous peepers are hidden behind those stylish frames.

There is no need to feel like you are limited to your eyeshadow options or overall makeup for the day because you hare an eyeglass wearer.

We will be using the 88 Matte Palette and using some neutral eyeshadows for someone that may be an office or business person. It is a little more safe to go neutral in the work place, but you can incorporate color safely .

We begin my priming the entire lid with a skin toned base .

We will be using this shimmery taupe all over the lid.

To add a little more dimension and depth to the eyes we deepen the crease with this dark brown .

Using this shimmery ivory shade we will highlight the brow bone are and blend everything as seamless as possible.

Now here we have a variety of options in terms of the look we want to achieve. If you are looking for a more day time business and professional type of look we can simply end here and add a nude lip and a soft blush.

Option 2 we can do if you are more of the bold and daring type and want your eyes to pop and a bold lip.

Using your black out eyeliner gel, wing out the liner and add a fun red lip to make a statement

If you like using bright color eyeshadow it is still doable as an eyeglass wearer. Makeup is so versatile and there are no limits to the types of looks you can achieve. Drawing the focus to the eyes is more important because they are a bit hidden behind frames.

  1. Aw, you look nice in glasses. I love those frames! I wear glasses too but lately I have been wearing contacts more just because you can see the eye makeup better without the glasses. LOL. Great job!
